To coincide with the Design London exhibition, Design Led Transformation, at Imperial College London, we are holding a special STIR lecture that will focus on the way design is transforming not just the products and services offered by firms and the public sector organisations, but desig n led innovation’s transformational impact on our society and the environment.

Over the last four years Design London has focused on developing the next generation of business innovators and designer entrepreneurs with the interdisciplinary skills required to frame problems with new insights, the creativity to envision solutions that shake current paradigms, and the technical and business acumen to turn exciting ideas into commercially successful new ventures. Our exhibition focuses on the achievements of our students, our researchers and scope of the programmes we’ve delivered to over 1,000 masters level students and almost 600 businesses.

This STIR lecture will explore the importance for design practice to make a transformational impact beyond products and services, beyond organisational performance, and address the perfect storm of social, demographic, environmental and economic forces that are shaping our future.

At the end of the formal session you will be able to carry on the conversation with the speakers and other attendees over drinks as well as get a chance to view the second showing of Design London’s exhibition, Design Led Transformation.
