Abstract
Becker Underwood is the largest manufacturer of entomopathogenic nematodes globally. Producing all nine commercially available beneficial nematodes, the Nemasys(r) brand focuses largely on horticulture and forestry. The soil and foliar treatments offered cover soft fruit, top fruit, vegetables, ornamentals, conifer plantations and turf. For black vine weevil (Otiorhynchus sulcatus) and fungus gnat (Sciarid) control, Nemasys(r) L and Nemasys(r) M are industry standards. Long-term efficacy and prey location are among the advantages over chemicals along with no crop REI’s, pest resistance, PPE requirements or environmental threats.
