If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, look no further! Imperial College Healthcare Charity, which raises funds for the hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, has announced the date of its next abseil event so sign up today.
On Friday 29 July, there will be 80 people descending on ropes down Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother building at St Mary’s Hospital and raising funds for improvements to patient care.
You can experience the stunning rooftop views of London before courageously stepping off the 10th floor balcony and making the 130ft (approx) descent to get back to firm ground. What a fabulous personal achievement!
Director of fundraising, Carol Taylor,said: “Places are limited for this uplifting and exciting experience so sign up today to support projects improving quality of care and patient experience, clinical research and staff training and recognition schemes.”
Get together with family, friends and colleagues and abseil as a group. The abseil is open to everyone (minimum age 18 years).
