Programme overview
We are working with the The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) to offer a mentorship dinner for our MBA and MSc Management students. This will provide a unique experience for our students who are interested in starting up their own business, entrepreneurship and building their networks.
Who is TiE?
The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) fosters entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs. With 13,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 56 chapters across 13 countries, TiE hosts a wide range of programs and events, including TiEcon, the largest professional and networking conference for entrepreneurs. Why should you go?
- Learn from the entrepreneurs who are very experienced in start-up business. There will be 12 mentors from TiE to coach you on entrepreneurship matters; discussions may extend beyond the event.
- Network with another 30 TiE’s members who are also keen in entrepreneurship. This will help you to setup your own contacts for starting-up your business outside of your immediate network.
- Many of TiE’s members are from India which will be a great opportunity to learn more about business opportunities in this fast growing economy.
- The knowledge and networks will help to support your study in the relevant projects/courses.
Programmes
We have invited 12 senior mentors from TiE to share with 60 participants (30 from Imperial College Business School, 30 from TiE). There will be 10-12 tables with 5 mentees and 1 mentor at each table; you will be allocated to a particular group and participate in three 30 minutes mentoring rotations to enable you to meet at least three mentors and different participants.
