Title: ‘Lorentz transmission electron microscopy — imaging magnetic microstructure’
Lorentz transmission electron microscopy (L-TEM) is a magnetic characterisation technique. It utilizes the fact that charges in motion (electrons) are deflected by a magnetic field (Lorentz force) to image the magnetic domain structure of a sample. In this talk I will give an introduction to this exciting technique, discussing advantages and limitations as well and giving examples of its use.
