Andrew Cain
Andrew Cain brings two decades of international investing experience to his post as CEO of Dimensional Fund Advisors Ltd in the UK. Andrew remains a Director of Dimensional Australia Limited as well as a member of the group’s Investment Policy Committee and will continue to participate in the group’s Investment Committee meetings.
Andrew joined Dimensional in 1983 as a portfolio manager with the London office. in 1994 he moved to Sydney to set up the firms’ Asia Pacific operations, which grew to include all aspects of a funds management business. While in Australia, Andrew’s responsibilities included day -to- day management of the firm’s Australian operations and, as the group’s Head of International Equity Portfolio Management, oversight of Dimensional’s non-US equity portfolios.
Before coming to Dimensional, Andrew worked in the insurance industry, employed by CIGNA Corp’s European Actuarial Group. Prior to working at CIGNA, he worked for Almana Computer Services in the Gulf country of Qatar.
Andrew holds a CFA designation, awarded by the CFA Institute. He earned his MBA from London Business School and graduated with a BSc from the Imperial College.
