The Institute of Biomedical Engineering is pleased to announce the 2nd Symposium of the Musculoskeletal Technology Network. Please join us for a stimulating multidisciplinary programme of presentations covering medical, technical and other scientific aspects of musculoskeletal research. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues from across the College. If you would like to be considered as one of the speakers please contact Rob Fenton with a short abstract on the proposed content of your presentation.

Programme

The keynote talk will be given by Professor Anthony Hollander, University of Bristol, whose research into tissue engineering adn stem cell biology for cartilage repair led his group to be involved in the first tissue-engineering windpipe.

Poster competition

In conjunction with the Symposium there will be a poster competition for PhD students and post-docs with a £100 first prize and 2 runner-up prizes of £75. Staff members may also submit posters but will be exempt from the competition.
