Short Biography
Roberto Merletti is full professor of Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and director of the Laboratory for Engineering of the Neuromuscular System (LISiN). He obtained his PhD from The Ohio State University and has been professor at Boston University. His research fields deal with electrical stimulation and electromyography as tools for the investigation of the neuromuscular system. In these fields he published over
150 papers in peer reviewed Journals.
