Following the success of last year’s event, the Staff Development team have decided to run a day of activities for the National Stress Awareness Day.

In order to enable as many people as possible to take part in this day, we have organised short activities (no more than 45 minutes) available throughout the day.

These include Indian head massage or acupressure massage (10 minute sessions), 45 minute relaxation sessions run by InnerSpace, and 45 minute stress management workshops titled “Stop worrying: How to be kind to your mind”.

To book your place at these activities and for more information about the day please visit – http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/staffdevelopment/ldc/workshops/prof_dev/destressday09.

For those of you who are unable to attend this day, we will also have a resource centre on our website where you will find a variety of documents (freely downloadable), useful links to stress management websites, relaxing desktop wallpapers.

There will also be a healthy food stand, a choice of stress handouts for you to take away, stress balls and “Stress tip of the day”.

We wish you all a very enjoyable and relaxing day!
