Professor William McKenna, the Director of the Centre for Cardiology In The Young, UCL, will be delivering a seminar at Imperial College on Thursday 1st October 2009 entitled ‘Genetics of Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy’. His presentation will take place at 4pm in seminar room 119 in the Sir Alexander Fleming Building.
Professor McKenna leads a clinical research team, which aims to identify the disease causing genes for sudden death in the young. The focus is on understanding pathogenesis in relation to improved diagnosis, disease management and sudden death prevention.
