The Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore would like to invite alumni to a lecture by alumnus Dr Bernard Lee (Business School 2005) from 7.15pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday 29 July 2009 at the Pod at the National Library Board building, 100 Victoria Street, Singapore 188064.
Dr Bernard Lee’s talk Demystifying the Alternative Investments Industry will throw light on the alternative investments industry (hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, commodities and some mentioning of real estate) by using simple statistical data. He will also illustrate the importance of applying the right analytical tools to interpret the information as well as the judgment to execute such analyses. He will finish by talking about some of the current industry trends that may have significant implications to global financial markets.
Dr Bernard Lee is a Visiting Practice Associate Professor of Economics and Deputy Director of the Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics at the Singapore Management University.
