The Meningitis Research Foundation is holding its bi-annual international conference is entitled ‘Meningitis and Septicaemia in Children and Adults’.
The programme includes presentations from leading international experts in the fields of infectious disease, epidemiology, immunology, vaccinology, tropical medicine, microbiology, molecular medicine, emergency/critical care and rehabilitation medicine.
Day 1 includes sessions on the current burden of disease, the science of prevention and pneumococcal prevention initiatives. Day 2 focuses on clinical management of meningitis and sepsis and prevention of meningococcal disease, including latest MenB vaccine developments.
Imperial College London speakers at this event include Professor Christoph Tang, Dr Simon Nadel and Dr David Inwald.
