The Hellenic Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, in conjunction with the Imperial College Alumni Association of Greece, has organised a series of geotechnical lectures which will be delivered by academics from Imperial College London’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

On Tuesday 5 May 2009, Dr David Hight, Visiting Professor at Imperial College London, will deliver a lecture entitled Singapore’s Nicoll Highway Collapse. The event will be taking place in Thessaloniki; further details about the venue and timing will follow closer to the event.
