Professor Tom Welton, Head of the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London, will be visiting Canada during February 2009 to present his latest results on how ionic liquids affect the reactions of solute compounds.
He will deliver his lecture, In search of an ionic liquid effect, at the following universities:
• University of Ottawa on 6 February 2009
• McGill University, Montreal on 10 February 2009
• University of Western Ontario, London Ontario on 11 February 2009
• Queens University, Kingston Ontario on 13 February 2009
