The Imperial College Alumni Association of Hong Kong has organised a visit to the TAL Apparel’s factory in the mainland city of DongGuang, the heartland of China’s textile industry, on Saturday 31 May 2008.

Textile Alliance Apparel (Dongguan) Ltd. is located at Dongguan city, southern part of mainland China with superior geographical environment and excellent economical background. As the top garment manufacturer, Textile Alliance Apparel (TAA) has a 13-year splendid history. TAA is part of the TAL Group of companies – one of the largest garment manufacturers in the world. As a global company, TAL Apparel operates factories in nine countries around the world and with approximately 25,000 employees. This visit will be an excellent opportunity to see the state-of-the-art facilities in one of the largest garment manufacturers in the world.
