At the end of September, senior academics from Imperial College London and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will gather to present and debate key global issues for the twenty-first century: energy, healthcare and the environment. The two-day meeting will unite world class experts from both sides of the Atlantic and will give attendees exclusive insights into current thinking and research in these areas. Four daytime sessions will explore these topics in intelligent terms that are accessible to the layman. There will also be plenty of networking time during breaks and lunches to discuss the issues under debate in more detail with the experts.
The highlight of the meeting will be a sumptuous Gala Dinner, hosted by Imperial Rector, Sir Richard Sykes, on the Tuesday evening, marking the mid-point of the event. Guests will be able to enjoy a delicious four-course banquet with fellow alumni and friends in celebration of the College’s Centenary year.
This event is open to all but especially targeted to Imperial’s 4,000 alumni in North America. Please join us at this truly fitting celebration of 100 years of living science.
