BioMedEng conference
You are cordially invited to attend the official launch of the Association of Biomedical Engineers, Medical Engineers and Bioengineers

The event will be held online on Monday 14 September 2020 at 15.00, with a launch address from Dr Hayaatun Sillem, CEO, Royal Academy of Engineering at 15.15, and a panel session at 15.50. The panel will include leading academics and engineers, industrial executives, key government officials and NHS professionals. We will broadcast the event to the wider UK bioengineering community virtually via Microsoft Teams.

The BioMedEng Association has been operating as an unincorporated entity for a while but has now opted to formalise its arrangements and attain charitable status. Under a variety of similar names, the organisation has held the annual UK bioengineering conference for over ten (10) years. These meetings have grown to become the UK’s largest gathering of Biomedical Engineers, Medical Engineers and Bioengineers.

Our incorporation with the Charity Commission is now complete, and we are keen to start welcoming members to join the association, hence our official launch.

Please find a copy of the draft programme below.
