Is there something you want to know about COVID-19 vaccines? Or want to sit back with a cup of tea and hear the latest 

As we vaccinate more and more people, we’re hearing about vaccines everywhere, but sometimes hard to know what’s true, what’s not and to keep up with the latest 

The good news is, in this Q&A, you can questions to people working on the front line at Imperial College London – Consultant, Dr Liz Whittaker, and COVID-19 vaccine researcher, Dr Paul McKay.

Keeping us on track and making sure your questions get answered will be brilliant local White City resident and change maker, Hanan Ghouneim 

Already have a question in mind? Great! You can submit it when you register. All questions will be treated with respect and answered openly and honestly. There’s no pressure to ask a question, lot’s of people join us to listen!

  • Meet Dr Liz Whittaker, Consultant at St Mary’s Hospital and researcher at Imperial College London specialising in infectious diseases and immunology
  • Meet Dr Paul McKay, senior researcher and part of the team developing Imperial’s COVID-19 vaccine. 

How the Q&A works  

  • It’s free and open to everyone. It will be streamed on YouTube and you will be sent the YouTube link before the event. 
  • We’ll be taking questions in the YouTube chat, or if you’d prefer, you can send your questions in when you register. 
  • The main focus of the event is Q&A so we’ll try and get through as many questions as we can! 
  • Remember, we can’t answer personal medical questions, it’s important to get advice from your GP, healthcare professional or NHS 111 in these cases.
