Sharing Practice Event for UG students

Calling all undergraduate students interested in postgraduate education at Imperial!

The Graduate School at Imperial College London is hosting a free event for undergraduate students interested in postgraduate education at the College.  At this special event, you will hear from some of the College’s BAME postgraduate students and Early Career Researchers who will share with the audience, their experiences, and perspectives.

You will also hear from one of the College’s careers consultants on potential career opportunities available to postgraduates, and from a senior academic on the selection process of candidates for postgraduate degrees at Imperial. Following the talks, there will be opportunities to ask questions of the panel, the chance to network with your peers and to meet the student panellists.

Whilst this event will focus on the experiences of BAME students and Early Career Researchers, all undergraduate students are welcome to attend.

The event will be chaired by Chair Dr Helal Ahmed, Teaching Fellow, Imperial College Graduate School.

The programme will be as follows,

  • 15:30 – Welcome
  • 15:35 – Careers Statistics
  • 15:40 – The Academic Voice
  • 15:45 – The Student Voice
  • 16:15 – Q&A with the panel
