In 2020, the Department of Chemistry hosted a screening of the film Picture a Scientist which profiled the experiences of a diverse group of female scientists and the barriers they have overcome.

Following the film screening we hosted an online discussion session for anyone who had watched the film to come together and talk about the issues raised.
