As part of our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and our core Values, the Department of Chemical Engineering is celebrating LGBT History Month with an informal gathering (in person and Zoom) on 25 February from 16:00 until 18:00. The main purpose of the event is to strengthen our community, celebrate LGBTQ+ contributions to engineering and society, and reassert commitment to our values.
We invite contributions from our UG, PG and staff community, to speak for 5-10 min on a topic of your choice (e.g., aspect of LGBT+ history, own personal experience, inclusive education, outlook). We would like to have broad participation! Please email a brief title and your name to Bhavna Patel before 16 February 2022.
