Title: Line Bundle and Divisor correspondence

Abstract: Line bundle and divisor correspondence is a central concept in geometry. In this talk we will try to understand what the correspondence is, by first looking at Riemann surfaces and then moving to higher dimension by changing to the language of schemes. We’ll try to do examples along the way, so even if all technical details will not be covered, hopefully the main ideas will come across.
