Talk Summary –
Dr Jacob will discuss how imaging analysis of lung damage is being used in my computational laboratory at the Centre for Medical Image Computing, UCL. He will discuss the work being done to understand disease severity and disease progression in fibrosing lung diseases. Dr Jacob will also describe how these methods can identify endotypes of fibrosing lung disease which may benefit from different methods of monitoring or management and will end by describing new imaging modalities that may advance our understanding of the pathophysiology of early lung fibrosis.
