College Evensong is sung by Imperial’s student Chamber Choir
We have music composed by current Imperial students; a new anthem by Robin Flower and a psalm chant by Oscar Purcell-Shirley. Plus contemporary music by Joanna Forbes-L’Estrange and Jonathan Dove. You are invited to a drinks reception in church after the service – please email chaplaincy@imperial.ac.uk if you would like to attend.
It is an ancient pattern of evening prayer combining music, words, and silence to create a time for personal reflection and stillness (whatever your faith or worldview). The services regularly use music written by current students and women composers.
