College Evensong is sung by Imperial’s student Chamber Choir
A celebration with three new pieces of music by current Imperial students, an anthem by Pallav Bagchi, Responses by Owen Brook and a chant by Olivia Priestland.
Plus, classic music by Edward Bairstow, and Charles Stanford one of the founding professors at the Royal College of Music. After the service there will be a reception in the Chaplaincy Garden. Please email chaplaincy@imperial.ac.uk if you would like to attend.
It is an ancient pattern of evening prayer combining music, words, and silence to create a time for personal reflection and stillness (whatever your faith or worldview). The services regularly use music written by current students and women composers.
