EEE hosted a meeting of CIGRE WG C4.77: Best practices for individual and collective conformity assessment of inverter-based resources during their lifetime, 16-17 May 2025. Focusing on IBRs, one of the five Thrusts of the EPICS Centre, the meeting was attended by several members of the EPICS-UK team.
EPICS-UK has ongoing work with NESO on enhanced IBR connection compliance which aligns well with the activities of this CIGRE WG. The meeting was useful for understanding how various stakeholders from different parts of the world approach the conformity assessment process, explore potential synergies and share best practices.
