This international workshop brings together innovators and users of volumetric neural imaging technologies, with a particular focus on voltage imaging. Talks will explore both technical developments and neuroscience applications, and we’ll host a live discussion on community priorities based on a pre-circulated survey.
🧠 Workshop Schedule
13:30–14:00 – Arrival, tea & coffee (in-person only)
14:00–14:10 – Welcome and Introduction
14:10–14:45 – Kai Wang (Chinese Academy of Sciences): Confocal Light-field Voltage Imaging
14:45–15:20 – Sadra Sadeh (King’s College London): Data-driven Neural Circuit Computational Modelling
15:20–15:30 – Break
15:30–16:05 – Na Ji (UC Berkeley): FACED 2.0 Voltage Imaging
16:05–16:40 – Carsen Stringer (HHMI Janelia): Exploiting Large Scale Neuronal Recordings
16:40–17:00 – Survey Results and Community Discussion
17:00–18:00 – Happy Hour (in-person only)
We warmly encourage participation from both technology developers and neuroscientists interested in high-speed, volumetric voltage imaging. This workshop is part of our Bioimaging Technology Development project funded by the Wellcome Trust.
Please take the survey.
