Stochastic inflation and primordial black holes
Primordial black holes were proposed as a dark matter candidate already by Stephen Hawking in 1971, and have become popular recently. They could also seed the supermassive black holes we see at early times. I will discuss how to generate primordial black holes from inflation, and why stochastic effects are important.
