Centre for German & Austrian Exile Studies

The event will be hosted by CLCC colleagues, Professor Charmian Brinson and Dr Anna Nyburg, who are members of EXILE and authors of Yearbook Volume 24. Joining them to launch the two volumes will be Dr Andrea Hammel and Dr Stephanie Homer, authors of Yearbook Volume 23.

The Centre organises conferences and publishes their proceedings, has a programme of research seminars and an archive housing papers of exiles from Germany and Austria in the 1930s. EXILE members are drawn from a variety of disciplines, and comprise academic staff at universities throughout the UK who disseminate their research with publishing houses both in the UK and the German-speaking countries.
