A two minute silence to remember those killed in the First and Second World Wars, and in contemporary conflicts.
This short act of remembrance and personal reflection will be held, dedicated to members of Imperial killed during the two world wars.
The event will begin with a short introduction at 10.55 including information from the Imperial Archives.
At 11.00 there will be a two minute silence. A British Legion wreath will be laid in honour of those mentioned by name on the Imperial memorials. Flowers will also be laid to remember those killed in more recent conflicts.
The event has been prepared by Andrew Willson, the University Chaplain and Anne Barrett the University Archivist and Corporate Records Manager.
The event is open to all members of Imperial, friends and alumni. No registration is required.
