Bio: Dr Branwen Hide recently joined Imperial College as part of the EU Funding Team led by Andrea Bell. She been actively supporting researcher engagement in EU funding at both pre-and post-award levels since Framework Programme 7. Her career includes positions in research support roles at the University of Birmingham, UKRI (STFC and UKRO), and the University of Warwick. While employed by UKRI she spent time in Brussels where she served as a UK National Contact Point under both Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.
Abstract: This session provides a practical introduction to Horizon Europe and the range of opportunities available not only for funding research but also for supporting personal and career development. It will also cover common concerns, as well as internal and external support mechanisms available to prospective applicants. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and open discussion throughout the session.
