Analytics for health emergencies at WHO
Olivier will talk about various projects within his role as the Unit Head for Epidemiology and Analytics for Response within the WHO Health Emergencies Programme. The Epidemiology and Analytics for Response (EAR) unit aims to provide high-quality epidemiologic and other health information in a timely manner to inform evidence-based operational decision-making for the coordination of complex acute emergencies, including risk assessment, forecasting, monitoring, evaluation, interpretation of epidemiological trends, visualization and communication, as well as technical support to the development of strategy, epidemiological guidance, scenario planning and coordination of emergency response, in coordination with other relevant teams and units, Regional and Country offices, and partners.
