Title: Hunting for the Kinematic Dipole in the Stochastic Gravitational-Wave Background
Abstract: Our motion relative to the rest frame of a stochastic gravitational-wave background inevitably induces distinctive kinematic anisotropies. In this talk, I will outline both challenges and opportunities involved in detecting and characterizing these signatures across the nano-Hertz and milli-Hertz frequency bands, highlighting how they can be exploited to extract physical information about the background and its origin.
