David A. Hafler is the Edgerly Professor of Neurology and Professor of Immuno-biology, Yale School of Medicine and Neurologist-in-Chief of the Yale-New Haven Hospital. Hafler trained with Henry Kunkel at the Rockefeller University and at Harvard Medical School. His discoveries in the pathogenesis and treatment of multiple sclerosis have led to fundamental understanding of the disease and the development of novel treatments.
