About the Speaker
In her role as American’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Jill leads the airline’s sustainability strategy, with a focus on increasing its use of sustainable aviation fuel and assessing new technologies and partnerships to help American achieve net zero emissions by 2050. As part of that work, she has spearheaded two operational tests of contrail avoidance, working closely with researchers at Contrails.org and Google Research. Prior to joining American, Jill held roles in corporate responsibility and public policy at JPMorgan Chase and Fannie Mae. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and a master’s degree in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
