Speakers:

  • Professor Julian Redhead – “Data-Driven Improvements in Emergency Care”
    Medical Director, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and National Clinical Director for Urgent and Emergency Care, NHS England
    Julian is a consultant in emergency medicine and a senior NHS leader. Alongside his Trust role at Imperial, he advises nationally on urgent and emergency care, including 999, 111 and A&E services, and how these services can improve under sustained pressure.
  • Dr Claire Gray – “Emergency Services in Cumbria”
    Emergency Medicine Consultant, North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, and Urgent and Emergency Care Collaborative Chair
    Claire is an emergency medicine consultant at the Cumberland Infirmary. She helps lead work to improve urgent and emergency care locally, including development of the new Urgent Treatment Centre in Carlisle, designed to expand capacity and help patients be seen in the right place, by the right team.
