To mark the 70th Birthday of Prof. Henrik Jeldtoft Jensen we are holding a one-day Symposium on Complexity Science. Talks will be given by Henrik’s former and current students, collaborators and colleagues. There will be four sessions, each one on one of the following broad topics:
- Networks and Basic Formalism,
- Medical Applications,
- Society, Economics and Biological Systems,
- Neuroscience and Music.
All but the last contribution will be in one of the lecture theatres in the basement of Huxley building.
However, the last contribution, which starts at 18.00, will move to the City and Guilds Building, room 30, as this will involve a practical demonstration on piano by Prof. David Dolan from the Guildhall School of Music as part of the last talk on “Between structuring improvisation and improvising musical structure”.
