About MANUFACTORY – Presented through exhibitions, installations, site-specific interventions, performances, food, open studios, talks, workshops and participatory events, Manufactory invites audiences into the hidden spaces of production that shape the city. Unfolding across workshops, warehouses, studios and industrial sites, the festival opens up environments that are rarely accessible to the public, foregrounding Park Royal as a distinctive destination for contemporary interdisciplinary practice.

  • Startup Exhibitors –

Carbon Cell is dedicated to providing a sustainable alternative to traditional polymer-based foams. Their high-performance expandable foam is fully compostable and locks in carbon for centuries.

Omnilabs Research is an innovative MedTech firm that is focused on rehabilitation technology development. They build technology that empower stroke survivors to regain independence. Their goal is to allow for anytime, anywhere, remote and accessible fine-motor physiotherapy that is designed for real progress.

  • Body Literacy –

Anoushka Sawardekar presents Bobo, a fun, engaging hand-held period companion that bridges the gap between a young menstruator’s lived experience and the GP who needs to act on it.

Jubilee Tai presents Unfightable, helping kickboxers increase fight IQ through a lightweight motion capture system. Sparring analytics built for your gym.

  • Inquisitive Minds –

Eddy White presents Loci, a tool to help children explore big questions and wonder together with the people they love.

Lucy Tam presents Build Beyond, the contextual scaffolding system that turns prescriptive instructions into integrated learning activities, demonstrated with LEGO.

Nefeli Vitoraki presents GRIT, a set of objects that introduce productive friction into AI chatbot interaction, designed to help users hold onto their own critical thinking.

  • Circular Materials –

Antoine Mehdi presents CardWich, a versatile biolaminate made from waste cardboard at low pressures and temperatures. It transforms yesterday’s packaging into tomorrow’s material. By preserving the structural intelligence of cardboard, CardWich unlocks new ways to make: from flat sheets to moulded forms.

Aya Khayat presents ParaBoot, reclaiming parachutes into boots and closing material loops with performance preserved.

Joey More presents Felt 3D, demonstrator CNC that uses automated needle felting to create wool objects with variable density, allowing for embedded structure or integrated cushioning.
