The ICB CDT has organised our annual Chemical Kitchen event for new students.
This event will be held in the Chemical Kitchen Lab (Room 434, Level 4 of the Chemistry Building ) on 20th October 2026 @ 1-5pm, South Kensington Campus.
The Chemical Kitchen is an original, interdisciplinary laboratory aimed at introducing you to the mind- set and basic skills needed in a chemical laboratory (and kitchen!). You will learn practical lab skills, planning, creativity, precision, dexterity, making and recording observations, and the application of knowledge. You will also be introduced to the scientific mindset. All these skills will be useful for you in your further studies.
To highlight, if you want to move between campuses you can use the free shuttle bus service.
