Interested in applying mathematical approaches to challenges in biodiversity and climate?
Join this online information and Q&A session to learn more about the Turner Kirk Sprint Challenge Fund 2026, which brings together researchers from Imperial’s Department of Mathematics, Department of Life Sciences and Centre for Environmental Policy.
The session will introduce the aims of the Challenge, the funding available, the application process and key dates. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and explore how to get involved ahead of the in-person workshop in January.
The Challenge will provide £40,000 in seed funding to support two or three interdisciplinary teams developing innovative approaches to biodiversity and climate challenges.
We welcome researchers interested in contributing mathematical, environmental or life sciences expertise, whether or not they already have a project idea or collaborators in mind.
