Synopsis:
Rim Khamis will introduce her PhD thesis which focuses on the governance of climate change adaptation in mid-sized European cities. She is using a comparative case study approach, examining the cities of : San Sebastian (ES), Rouen (FR), Leuven (BE), Nijmegen (NL) and Växjö (SE). Rim will present her research approach as well as her findings for the city of Rouen.
Bio:
Rim Khamis is an Architect and Environmentalist. She completed her masters degree in Environmental and Energy Management at the University of Twente in the Netherlands and is carrying out her PhD in Geography and Planning at the University of Pau and Pays de L’Adour in France. Rim is a visiting PhD student at the Imperial College and is currently staying at the CEP until mid-February.
