The Design Make and Test project is a major piece of engineering design carried out by groups of third year students in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The groups run the project as a small engineering consultancy. They are given a brief and must develop ideas, develop concepts, then build and test a final prototype product. The final task during the year is to present this project at the DMT exhibition, which this year will be taking place between 4.00pm and 7.00pm on Tuesday 11th June 2019, in the College Main Entrance. All are welcome to come and see what our students are capable of, and to talk to them about the work they have been doing. This is an exciting event and it is a great opportunity to experience how enthusiastic our students are about their work.
