Ninth Summer School 2018
The ninth edition of CASC Summer School on Ceramics will take place from the 10th to the 12th of September 2018 at Imperial College London.

First confirmed speakers:
- Professor Ping Xiao from Manchester University, that will give a talk on Monday on thermal barrier coatings for aeroengines and power generation.
- Mr Stephane Richaud from Saint Gobain, that will give a master class on additive manufacturing of ceramics on Tuesday. From the basics of what it is, on how to apply it to ceramics.
- Professor Alan Atkinson, from Imperial College. He will be sharing his expertise on mechanical properties of films and coatings and ceramic processing.
- Dr Rachid M’Saoubi, from Seco Tools.
- Dr Andrea Zocca, from BAM and organiser of the Young Ceramists Additive Manufacturing Forum (yCAM) events. His talk is titled “Powder bed Additive Manufacturing technologies and their application to ceramic materials”.
