Professor Dale Russell is known to us all for her adventurous thinking and innovative creative outcomes. She has had an illustrious interdisciplinary career which includes designing apparel for Jimi Hendrix and BBC Costume, UX technology futures for world brands such as Nike and Ford Motors, and has served as consultant creative director with Samsung. For 30 years she has been a visiting academic with CSM and the RCA and is currently Visiting Professor for the Innovation Design Engineering programme, a post she has held for over a decade.
This evening will explore a celebration of the journey so far as Dale tells us some of her visions and thoughts on it all – and of course lots of obligatory mingling over some drinks and nibbles.
