Abstract
Gram Oorja Solutions Private Limited, has worked in over 200 remote villages of India, providing electricity, drinking water and cooking fuel to tribal communities. A key feature of the work has been the sustainability of these projects, with local communities taking over the management, tariff collection duties and ownership of these projects. Anshuman, a co-founder of the company, will share his experiences with the company.
Speaker biography
Anshuman Lath is a co-founder and Director of Gram Oorja. He is primarily responsible for partnerships and team building functions. Anshuman has a Post-Graduation in Management from IIM, Bengaluru and an engineering degree from IIT, Roorkee. He had more than 10 years of experience with SMEs, tribal education organisations and investment banking before co-founding Gram Oorja.
