Head of Commercialisation, Faculty of Medicine

Dr Anne Roques is Head of Commercialisation for the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London, where she leads initiatives that accelerate MedTech and life-science innovations from lab to market. She oversees translational activities, industry collaborations, and licensing strategies that enable academic discoveries to achieve clinical and commercial impact.

Before this, Anne directed the MedTechONE Accelerator, supporting spin-outs and translational projects across Imperial. Her earlier career includes senior R&D and engineering roles in the medical-device sector, building deep technical expertise in biomechanics and orthopaedics. She holds a PhD in Biomechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton and a postgraduate qualification in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
