Commercialisation Junior Officer, Faculty of Engineering

Jialuo Luo is a Commercialisation Officer at Imperial College London, specialising in healthcare innovations emerging from the Faculty of Engineering. She supports IP evaluation, protection and marketing, guiding technologies through licensing, spin-out creation and industry collaboration to accelerate their path to market impact.

Jialuo holds a PhD in Materials Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) and dual Master’s degrees in Polymer Science from the Universities of Freiburg and Strasbourg. Her technical expertise spans medical devices, drug delivery, nanomaterials, optics and polymers. With additional experience in investment, consulting and startups, she bridges science, business and entrepreneurship to advance transformative healthcare technologies.
