Rachel Spruce is a Commercialisation Executive within the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London, where she supports the translation of pioneering research into healthcare innovation. Her role involves evaluating discoveries for commercial potential and advancing them through IP protection, industry collaboration, translational funding, licensing and spin-out formation.

Rachel holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Oncology and brings over a decade of academic research experience in university environments. Combining her scientific expertise with formal training in technology transfer, she helps Imperial researchers bridge the gap between discovery and market adoption—ensuring promising medical innovations achieve real-world impact.
