Government Office for Science: Making scenarios matter

Imperial Tech Foresight worked with the Government Chief Scientific Adviser (GCSA) and the Government Office for Science. They delivered a creative brainstorming session for senior government officials, convened by the Deputy National Security Adviser Matt Collins. During the workshop, senior officials explored future challenges and growth opportunities in emerging energy supply solutions in combination with advances in computation. The workshop used the Tech Foresight 20 years +, TF2041 scenarios.

These scenarios prompted engaging discussions with senior officials from across a broad number of government departments, which Professor Dame Angela McLean DBE FRS (GCSA) summarised to close the session.
