The Digital Media Lab at Imperial is elevating education and experimentation for the next generation of STEMB leaders. Through bespoke interactive learning media – such as virtual reality training applications, immersive 360° and extended reality learning media, recorded lectures and promotional films – scientific practice comes to life. Our researchers and students can better interrogate, experience and communicate the difference that science can make for humanity. 

From virtual reality simulations that lets medicine students confront emergency scenarios, such as a cardiac arrest or anaphylactic shock, to creating an immersive experience in which students must work together and to escape an imagined emergency, training their communication and collaboration skills, the Digital Media Lab is creating new methods for impactful, high-end stimulation within STEMB learning.
